Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, NamPol’s Community Affairs Officer in Oshana, urges the public, especially parents and guardians, to remain vigilant and cautious when approached by individuals claiming to sell discounted school uniforms, particularly behind shopping centers. The advisory follows a surge in reports of scamming activities, notably in areas like Ongwediva and Ondangwa. Aiyambo emphasizes the need for parents to avoid falling victim to deceptive tactics employed by scammers who might be resurfacing with their fraudulent schemes.
