As the holiday season unfolds, the Namibian Police Force in Oshana Region is urging drivers to exercise heightened vigilance to thwart potential ambushes by robbers at traffic lights. Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, the Community Affairs Officer for Oshana, emphasized the need for public awareness concerning a rising trend in criminal activity during December.Aiyambo revealed that they have received multiple reports of criminals targeting or attempting to rob vehicle occupants while waiting at traffic lights. No arrests have been made in connection to these incidents so far. To counteract this emerging threat, Aiyambo urged residents to remain alert and take precautionary measures.
