ACC Director General Orders Higher Education Minister and PA to Repay N$69,000 in Travel Allowances

The Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Paulus Noa, has instructed the Minister of Higher Education, Itah Kandjii-Murangi, and her personal assistant to reimburse a total of N$69,000 out of N$952,000 in travel allowances disbursed to them in 2022. The ACC investigation report, dated January 25, this yea reveals that Kandjii-Murangi received subsistence and travel allowances from entities under her jurisdiction, including the Namibia Training Authority and the Namibia University of Science and Technology.The deadline for repayment is set for April 30.
