Residents of Khomas referred to as Zone 2, have experienced a slightly higher inflation rate of 5.7%, while those in the northern regions, known as Zone 1, saw a slightly lower rate of 5.5%. The southern regions, or Zone 3, which includes Omaheke and Erongo, experienced the lowest inflation at 5%. According to Namibia Statistics Agency spokesperson, Mirjam Shihepo, in terms of consumer goods prices, Khomas stood out with the highest prices, notably with brown bread priced at N$14.18 and 750 milliliters of sunflower oil at N$32.42, both being the highest among surveyed regions.
