The elderly community in Swakopmund is expressing deep appreciation for the late President Hage Geingob, recognizing him as a dedicated advocate for their well-being. During a recent memorial service in Swakopmund, Sackeus Amutenya shared a heartwarming memory of Geingob celebrating his birthday with them, organizing a gathering in Vineta where he personally grilled meat and ensured they were well-fed. Naftaline Kavendjii, a 72-year-old community member, fondly reminisced about dancing the night away in celebration of Geingob’s return from abroad.
