Spiritual leaders from diverse denominations, led by the Council of Churches in Namibia, gathered on Sunday to pay homage to the late President Hage Geingob. Describing him as a dedicated believer and advocate for unity, they expressed gratitude for Geingob’s commitment to freedom for churches during the national prayer day in Windhoek. Bishop Emeritus of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia, Dr Zephania Kameeta, led the tributes, portraying Geingob as a unifying figure with a deep passion for the Namibian people. Dr Kameeta underscored the importance of maintaining unity as a crucial element for Namibia and the global community’s survival.
