The Namibian Police Force has revealed the discovery of an additional 10,000 Mandrax tablets in the truck driven by a 51-year-old suspect who was arrested for drug possession at the Ariamsvlei border post last week. Deputy Commissioner Nikodemus Mbango, NamPol’s crime investigations coordinator for the ||Kharas Region, reported that members of the Drug Law Enforcement Subdivision from Keetmanshoop were dispatched to the border post. The seized Mandrax tablets, valued at over N$1 million, highlight the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities.
