Namibia has claimed the title of the African country with the highest beer consumption per capita, with 95.5 liters. As outlined in a Wisevoter report, Namibia’s beer consumption reflects a broader trend in the African beer market which has witnessed sustained growth attributed to shifting lifestyles, increased disposable incomes, and urbanisation. Africa commands nearly eight percent of the global beer consumption market, highlighting the region’s significance in the beverage industry.
