Pastor Arrested for Alleged Rape of Two Women and a Minor in Omusati Region

In the Omusati Region, law enforcement has detained a 34-year-old pastor and church proprietor accused of sexually assaulting two young women and a minor in Okandi village, Etayi Constituency, last month. According to Omusati’s Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, the suspect was apprehended at the church premises on Tuesday and is slated to appear in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court on Thursday. The victims include two young women aged 19 and 24, as well as a 17-year-old girl. The alleged incidents transpired between February 9 and 24, 2024, with ongoing police investigations.
