Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Boyfriend in Otjiwarongo After Argument

In Otjiwarongo, a 40-year-old woman was arrested yesterday for allegedly stabbing her 38-year-old boyfriend in the Ombili informal settlement following an argument. According to Namibian Police Force Otjozondjupa Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Edna Nawa, the victim survived the stabbing and was admitted to Otjiwarongo State Hospital in critical condition. Nawa mentioned that the victim was transported to the hospital with the knife still lodged in his right shoulder, but it was successfully removed by a medical doctor. As of this report, the victim’s condition is critical but stable.
