Alleged Rape Incident Reported in Omuntele Village, Oshikoto Region

A 19-year-old individual is accused of raping a 24-year-old woman after allegedly purchasing alcohol for her and two friends in Omuntele village, Oshikoto Region. According to Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the Namibian Police Force crime investigations coordinator in the region, the incident occurred around 8pm on Friday. Ekandjo stated that after a brief period, the victim went to the toilet, and the suspect followed her inside. Fortunately, the victim was rescued by two men who were also present in the area at the time.
