Former South African President Jacob Zuma revealed that none of the party’s top national leadership will assume ministerial roles in Parliament for the time being. Zuma disclosed this during an election campaign event in Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, nearly two months ahead of the general elections. He also voiced concern about ongoing poverty among black people, 30 years into democracy. MK national spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela, affirmed that those deployed to government will be accountable to the party’s NEC.
