U.S Authorities to open alternate shipping route in Baltimore

U.S Authorities are planning to open a temporary alternate channel in the US city of Baltimore, to allow some marine traffic to enter the port. Cleanup efforts are underway there after a cargo ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge last week – blocking access to the busy cargo terminal. But the operation is being complicated by fast-moving waters and dangerous conditions underneath the surface. Salvage experts say clearing debris in the Patapsco River is likely to take weeks. Sally Patterson reports.
