Ollins Mulatehi from Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region is demanding N$9.5 million in damages from a private hospital after his leg was amputated in 2020 due to an alleged misdiagnosis. He claims he was wrongly diagnosed with appendicitis at Enkehaus Private Hospital in November 2023, leading to unnecessary surgery where his leg’s artery was injured, resulting in amputation. Mulatehi, a foreman at Nored Katima Mulilo, seeks compensation for medical costs and future treatment.
