Longinus Iipumbu, deputy president of Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters and a member of parliament, has come to the defense of Moses Ndjene, who slapped a Swapo member during a party event in Mix Settlement, Windhoek. Iipumbu contends that Ndjene acted appropriately, defending himself and others frustrated by the perceived lack of progress in development programs. He accuses Swapo of deceiving the nation for 34 years. NEFF reportedly awarded Ndjene N$1,000 in appreciation for the assault on Swapo branch coordinator Bonifatius Munango.
