NamPol launches search for fugitive prisoners in Zambezi region

Police have launched a massive manhunt for 11 prisoners who escaped from a police holding cell in the north-eastern Zambezi region. The trial-awaiting escapees cut through the roof of the Katima Mulilo police station before escaping. Locals have been warned to be vigilant as the prisoners were awaiting trial for serious crimes. Here is the NamPol spokesperson in the region, Inspector Kisco Sitali.
