African Union and SADC Hold Workshop on Migration Governance

The African Union Commission and the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum organized a two-day inter-regional workshop focusing on African migration governance. Representatives from various regional bodies, including ECOWAS, EALA, and PAP, attended to discuss labor migration governance. Utaara Mootu, a parliament member, stressed the significance of labor migration governance for societal and economic development, highlighting the need for fair, equitable systems respecting the rights and dignity of migrants.
