Three contract cleaners from the City of Windhoek, along with social activist Michael Amushelelo, faced charges of inciting public violence after participating in a strike for better working conditions. However, the court ordered the matter to be struck off the roll and refunded bail money to the suspects. The strike involved over 100 street cleaners demanding improved conditions and permanent contracts. Despite a trial scheduled for Wednesday, a decision from the Prosecutor General was still pending, prompting the court to rule in favor of dropping the charges due to lack of reasonable submissions by the State
