Over 38,000 Obtain National Documents in Mass Registration Campaign

Since its commencement on February 5th, more than 38,000 individuals have obtained their national documents through the Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security ministry’s mass registration campaign, which is set to conclude on July 30th, 2024. Etienne Maritz, the Executive Director, highlighted that this campaign aims to register individuals without national documents but possessing supporting documents, as well as those who have lost their documents. The initiative spans all 14 regions of the country, indicating a concerted effort to ensure broader access to essential identification documents for citizens.
