Fourth Group of Post-Covid Peace Corps Volunteers Arrives in Namibia

Background
Six Peace Corps volunteers, the fourth group of response volunteers to arrive in the country since Covid-19, have pledged to serve the nation. They were sworn in at the U.S. Chief of Mission’s office in Windhoek. The group will spend a year in Namibia serving in sectors such as health, education, and economic development. They will be stationed in the towns of Windhoek, Mariental, and Gobabis. Their arrival brings the total number of Peace Corps volunteers in Namibia to 47.
