UN General Assembly President Visits Namibia Ahead of 2024 Summit

Dennis Francis, President of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly, is visiting Namibia for three days at the invitation of Peya Mushelenga, Namibia’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation. This visit precedes the Summit of the Future in September 2024, co-facilitated by Namibia and Germany. Executive Director, Penda Naanda emphasized the visit’s focus on accelerating the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
