Kavango West Governor Urges Mbunza Community to Uphold Peace Amid Chieftainship Dispute

Governor, Sirkka Ausiku of Kavango West called for peace within the Mbunza community during the 23rd anniversary celebration of Hompa Alfons Kaundu’s chieftainship at Kapako palace. She emphasized the importance of avoiding disputes among members of the Mbunza Royal family, urging community unity and reconciliation following a recent court judgment regarding the chieftainship. Ausiku commended efforts to preserve Mbunza history and encouraged widespread education to prevent further conflicts.
