US Stocks tumbled at the opening of the bell at the New York Stock exchange on Monday as fears about a US economic slowdown sent shockwaves of fear through global markets. The volatility even spread to other markets in Asia and Europe, as Japanese stocks suffered their biggest ever daily loss closing more than 12% lower. Jody Jacobs reports from New York.
