The Namibia Police Force has responded to complaints regarding alleged discrimination by traffic law enforcement officers against operators of seven-seater vehicles. Nampol spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, clarified that the police force has not authorised any discriminatory practices in enforcing the Road Traffic and Transportation Act.

Shikwambi said that vehicles operating without public transportation permits are subject to the same enforcement measures, regardless of vehicle type. Shikwambi assured that traffic officers perform their duties without favoritism or discrimination, maintaining a professional approach in all cases.
