Namibia Breweries Limited has invested N$337 million in a new wine packaging line, creating 16 new permanent jobs and offering permanent positions to 23 temporary staff according to The Brief. The new line, completed ahead of schedule, allows NBL to package popular wine brands locally. In addition, NBL has invested N$44 million in upgrading existing packaging lines and N$56 million in expanding its warehouse. This investment, driven by Heineken’s increased stake and an operational merger with Distell, expands NBL’s product range to include wine, cider, and spirits. NBL now employs 953 people.
