SWAPO Plans to Revive Air Namibia with New Strategy

At the launch of SWAPO’s election manifesto, Vice President and presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah outlined the party’s intention to revive Air Namibia reports the Namib Pulse. The airline, which shut down in 2021, had significant liabilities exceeding its assets and relied on government bailouts for over 20 years. The revival plan aims to avoid previous financial pitfalls with a more strategic approach.
