The Electoral Commission is under fire for organizing a nine-day trip to South Africa for politicians to oversee ballot paper production. Several political parties, including the Republican Party, Popular Democratic Movement, and Christian Democratic Voice Party, are boycotting the trip and planning a protest, accusing the commission of awarding a N$6.2 million tender to a controversial South African company. The parties are calling for a more transparent procurement process, while 18 other political parties have joined the commission’s delegation
