Statistics Agency Concludes Pilot Household Income and Expenditure Survey

Statistics Agency has successfully concluded the fieldwork for the 2025/2026 Pilot Household Income and Expenditure Survey, which began on September 30 and wrapped up on October 20. This pilot survey was essential in preparing for the upcoming Main NHIES survey scheduled for March 2025. While the results from this pilot will remain internal and will not be published, they are crucial for ensuring the main survey effectively gathers high-quality data on household income, expenditures, and living conditions throughout Namibia. The NSA also announces that there will be no further visits from field staff for NHIES data collection until the main survey begins.
