Windhoek, Namibia – Thousands of Oktoberfest revellers from all walks of life came together to experience the thrilling 64th edition of Namibia Breweries Windhoek Oktoberfest, held at the Sport Klub Windhoek from Friday, 25th to Saturday, 26th of October 2024.

The diverse and colourfully dressed festival-goers not only enjoyed the delicious food and lively entertainment, but also the exclusive “Fest Beer,” brewed specifically for Oktoberfest. Through this iconic beer festival, NBL provided consumers with exceptional beverages for the occasion.

“Our purpose at NBL is to brew the joy of true togetherness and inspire a better world. The Windhoek Oktoberfest perfectly embodies this spirit. It’s more than just a celebration; it’s about bringing people together from all walks of life to create lasting memories. We are therefore happy and proud to promote true togetherness as it promotes cultural diversity and inclusion,” said Peter Simons, NBL’s Managing Director.

Officially opening the festival, Simons noted that the brewery values its long-standing relationship with the Oktoberfest organisers and co-sponsors over the years. This partnership aligns with NBL’s heritage as a proud Namibian company with 103 years of excellence.

This year, NBL enhanced its promotion of moderate and responsible drinking by setting up a rebranded water station at the festival, reminding consumers to alternate their drinks with water. NBL also expressed gratitude to the City’s law enforcement for ensuring road safety throughout the weekend.
