Founding Father Dr. Nujoma’s Final Procession underway in Windhoek

The ceremonial route procession for the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, has commenced at 08:30 and will be until 12 midday today, passing through key landmarks in Windhoek. The route has begun at Sam Nujoma Drive, moving through Mandume Ndemufayo Road, David Hosea Meroro Road via Jan Jonker Street, Hendrick Witbooi Drive, Moses Garoeb Street, Winnie Madikizela Mandela Road, and Independence Avenue. Key stops include Soweto Market, Katutura Shoprite, Swapo National Headquarters, and Fire Brigade Circle, before proceeding through CBD via Avani Hotel and ending at Parliament Gardens for the final tribute.
