The Erongo Police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating 32-year-old Walvis Bay resident, Martha Hamalwa.

According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, Hamalwa was last seen around midnight last Saturday at Independence Beach Bar and Restaurant, where she had arrived with a group of friends.

“She allegedly left the venue shortly after arriving but did not return to the bar or go home,” Shomongula stated.

Her whereabouts remain unknown, and attempts to reach her by phone have been unsuccessful, as her device is switched off.

Hamalwa is described as a dark-skinned Oshiwambo-speaking woman who does not usually go out. She was last seen wearing black trousers, a white shirt, and a grey coat.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Detective Inspector Veronica Amunyela at 085 762 1696 or Detective Warrant Officer Shivanda Rejoice at 081 297 5403.

The investigation is ongoing.
