PACKING UP: At Windhoek’s Independence Stadium, the initial venue for today’s planned Independence celebration and inauguration of incoming president Netumbo Nadi-Ndaitwah, pitched tents are being dismantled. Law enforcement has told News on One that it’s unclear what is going to happen today at the stadium, if anything, taking into account that the event was moved to the State House yesterday due to expected thunderstorms. Despite this, members of the public are arriving at the stadium.
