Motorists can breathe a sigh of relief after the Ministry of Industries, Mines, and Energy announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged for May 2025.

Following its monthly fuel price review, the Ministry recorded over-recoveries of 13.36 cents per litre for petrol, 17.39 cents per litre for diesel 50ppm, and 25.83 cents per litre for diesel 10ppm. These over-recoveries have enabled the Ministry to keep prices steady for another month.

In Walvis Bay, the price of petrol will remain at N$20.67 per litre, while diesel 50ppm will stay at N$20.62 per litre and diesel 10ppm at N$20.72 per litre.

The Ministry said a detailed statement has been issued to provide further context on the decision.
