Ohangwena Governor pledges support towards Youth Expo

Ohangwena Governor Kadiva Hamutumwa emphasided the significance of youth empowerment in the country’s development.

She made the remarks during the official opening of the Ekango Rural Youth Expo at Omatangela Village.

 The expo, which ran from Monday to Saturday, brought together young people to showcase their skills and talents.

Hamutumwa pledged N$ 10 000 towards next year’s expo,  with a portion of the funds dedicated to  sports activities in the area.

 She stressed that empowering the youth is crucial as they are the leaders of tomorrow.

The governor further said she believes in leaders who take action, not just talking without action.
