NamPol investigates fatal accident on Ondangwa–Omuthiya road

Nine people have been confirmed dead, and fifteen others were injured after an Iveco bus collided head-on with a sand truck at Oniimbwele village along the Ondangwa–Omuthiya road yesterday evening.

The injured are being treated at Onandjokwe State Hospital.

Namibian Police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, confirmed the incident and said investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
