Santam, City of Windhoek Launch Flood Safety Initiative

Santam Namibia, in partnership with the City of Windhoek, has launched a new flood signage initiative to improve public safety at high-risk river crossings. The insurer has committed nearly N$150,000 to install warning and depth marker signs in flood-prone areas identified by the City’s Emergency and Disaster Risk Management Division. The project aims to reduce accidents and raise awareness as flash floods become an increasing threat across Namibia. Here’s Santam Namibia’s CEO, Franco Feris.
