The Capricorn Foundation, in partnership with Unmatched Potential – Business Box Namibia, has launched the Vocational Graduate Entrepreneurship Programme in Swakopmund on Thursday.

The initiative equips the country’s technical and vocational education and training graduates with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and practical business experience.

Head of the Capricorn Foundation, Veripura Muukua, said: “Vocational graduates are at the heart of Namibia’s development story. With the Be Your Own Boss Programme, we are giving young people not only skills, but also real pathways to create opportunities for themselves. This initiative is more than a mentorship programme; it is a commitment to building a thriving entrepreneurial culture that unlocks Namibia’s unmatched potential.”

Founder of Unmatched Potential – Business Box Namibia, Etienne Raymond said: “If mindsets shift from ‘I need’ to ‘I create’, meaningful, sustainable livelihoods can be established. The Be Your Own Boss programme coaches participants on how to turn skills and talents into value with commercial benefits.”

The programme will select 20 graduates from the Erongo Region with level 3 or 4 TVET qualifications from the past 1 to 5 years.

Interested graduates can apply online by 3 April 2026, with shortlisted candidates invited to pitch for a place in the three-month mentorship journey.
