Namibia fully pays off 2015 Eurobond

Vice President Lucia Witbooi launched the Revised National Policy on Disability

  has launched the Revised National Policy on Disability and its Costed Implementation Plan, under the theme “Building an Inclusive Namibia: From Policy to Action.” Speaking in Windhoek, Witbooi said the updated policy aims to tackle challenges faced by persons with disabilities, including limited access to education, employment, and healthcare. The revised policy replaces the original 1997 framework and reaffirms Namibia’s commitment to equality, dignity, and non-discrimination for all citizens.

Namibia makes progress on FATF Grey List

The Financial Intelligence Centre says Namibia is on track to exit the FATF grey list by May 2026, after addressing most of the weaknesses in its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing systems.
