Suspect charged over shooting of Palestinian students in US

A man has appeared in court following the shooting of three Palestinian college students in the US state of Vermont. Suspect Jason J. Eaton was arrested on Saturday and his apartment was searched. He's been charged with three counts of second-degree attempted murder, and is being held without bail. Eaton has pleaded not guilty. Sally Patterson has more.

A 22-year-old man allegedly committed suicide at Rehoboth in the Hardap Region on Saturday. According to the crime report, Adriano Beukes hanged himself around 11pm in the Block D residential area.
