New date set for African leadership event

The African Leadership Organisation is rescheduling the African Persons of the Year Ceremony originally set for 22-23 February 2024 due to a scheduling conflict with the late President Hage Geingob's funeral proceedings. Prime Minister Kuugongelwa-Amadhila facilitates public tribute with early leave for civil servants

Information minister to announce military procession route for late President Geingob

Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has announced that the Namibian Defence Force will lead a military procession with the remains of the late President Hage Geingob across the capital city on Friday, allowing the public to pay their last respects.
