The annual inflation rate was 4.4% in August, down from 4.7% in August 2023. Monthly inflation increased to 0.3% from 0.2% in the previous month. Key contributors to inflation were food and non-alcoholic beverages and housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels, each contributing 1%.
