IPC Challenges Mbumba’s Authority on Voting Extension

The IPC has argued that President Mbumba lacked legal authority to extend the 2024 voting period, citing contradictions in his proclamation and improper election conduct, as extended voting was only allowed at specific polling stations. The IPC, co-signed by lawyer Anton Katz, disputes Mbumba’s claim that he intended to extend voting nationwide but was advised against it.
