The Independent Patriots for Change and the Landless People’s Movement have challenged the outcome, alleging irregularities in the November election won by Swapo candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. The Wildlife Resorts has rejected speculation that it plans to sell or privatize its lodges. The company assured the public that it remains under government ownership and is only conducting a strategic review to enhance efficiency. The audit process, according to NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala, is routine and should not be misinterpreted as an attempt to transfer ownership.
