Judiciary addresses Presidential succession queries

The Office of the Judiciary says there has been discourse around the Presidential succession of President Dr. Nangolo Mbumba following the untimely death of late President Dr. Hage Geingob. Namibia recordsnew Covid-19 cases, country doesn’t have vaccines

The Ministry of Health and Social Services has announced that as of 20 February 2024, there are 28 active cases and 3 hospitalisations. No deaths due to Covid-19 were recorded, while Rehoboth has had a localised increase in Covid-19 cases. City of Windhoek issues deadline for prepaid meter update

The City of Windhoek is updating all pre-paid electricity meters in Windhoek and is asking members of the public to cooperate with it’s officials. City spokesperson Lydia Amutenya says that the current prepaid meter system will expire on 24 November 2024 and a token change is needed to keep all the pre-paid meters working after this date.
