A presentation made by the Namibian Association of Medical Aid Funds to the Namibia Medical Care board of trustees has revealed that 96% of medical aid companies are at risk of closing down, starting next year. Namaf is a juristic body that controls, promotes, encourages and co-ordinates the establishment, development and functioning of medical aid companies in Namibia.
