A 29-year-old man was arrested on Monday, after a post-mortem revealed that the 35-year-old woman who allegedly died on Sunday in his company, was raped and murdered. The Opuwo Town Council on Tuesday re-elected its councillors in their various positions. Bank of Namibia will announce its decision on the repo rate today

The Bank of Namibia will announce its decision on the repo rate today. The central bank's Monetary Policy Committee decided to continue safeguarding the peg between the Namibian Dollar and the South African Rand while supporting the domestic economy and keeping the Repo rate unchanged at 7.75 percent in October. SWAPO blocks one more motion in parliament

The DA in Gauteng tabled several motions in 2023 and the ANC, through its majority, rejected the many motions.
