Women in Media organization facilitates generous donation to Tsumkwe Secondary School

The Women in Media organization, established by journalists Jemima Beukes and Limba Mupetami, recently facilitated a generous donation to Tsumkwe Secondary School. This initiative, made possible through the support of Rössing Uranium, Uranium One Group, Pupkewitz Motors, and the Agra Staff Initiative Fund, included the provision of school uniforms, stationery, sanitary products, toiletries, and a welcoming dinner for the learners. Education Minister says no learner should be sent home over unpaid fees

Education Minister Anna Nghipondoka has urged schools to avoid sending learners back, for not paying hostel fees or voluntary school contribution fees, saying that though hostel fees are mandatory parents can make arrangements for their kids to be exempted if they are unable to pay, provided there is evidence financial constraints.
