Eskom has announced the resumption of Stage 2 load-shedding, starting from 4 PM until 5 AM this morning. Load-shedding will then be suspended until 4 PM today, with this pattern expected to continue daily until Sunday afternoon. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokoena has attributed the scale-down in power cuts to lower demand and a further improvement in generation capacity.
