According to the latest global report on the food crisis, more than 1 in 5 people in 59 countries face acute insecurity in 2023. The Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation Dominique Burgeon meanwhile says conflict in Sudan has created a hunger crisis.

Judge to make decision on Trump gag order

Donald Trump has again claimed that the gag order imposed on him by the judge overseeing his criminal hush money case is unconstitutional. At a hearing on Tuesday prosecutors accused the former president of violating the order 11 times during recent weeks. Judge Juan Mercan is yet to make a ruling on whether Trump's actions warrant a fine or even prison time. William Denselow reports from New York.
