India's Election body has asked social media platform X to take down a video depicting Muslims as disproportionate beneficiaries of past government policies. The video was posted by the state unit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party - and is now being slammed for allegedly spreading hatred against minorities. Local police have registered complaints against BJP Party officials, as Ishan Garg tells us.

Judge refuses Trump’s mistrial request following Stormy Daniels testimony

The judge in Donald Trump's hush money case has refused his request for a mistrial, after explicit testimony from adult film star Stormy Daniels. His defense lawyers said her details of the alleged sexual encounter with the former president were "extremely prejudicial", and requested the trial be disbanded. Stormy Daniels has been recounting her affair with the former president, something Trump himself denies. U.S President says no tolerance for anti-semitism on campuses

U.S President Joseph Biden said there is no room for anti-semitism in our world, and emphasised that student protesters are allowed to exercise their freedom of speech against investment in Israel, but not to speak out against the country's existence. TikTok and its Chinese parent company ByteDance have sued the US government over a new law that could potentially see the platform banned nationwide within a year…unless it's sold to a non-Chinese company. When passing the law last month, US lawmakers expressed fear that the Chinese government could force TikTok to turn over user data … or to manipulate algorithms to influence public opinion.
